Laurent is a senior director responsible for providing Risk and Finance integration expertise across solutions, products, and services offered by Moody's Analytics in the USA and Canada. As a domain expert in financial services since 2005, Laurent has accumulated a wealth of knowledge on the effective integration of risk and finance processes. He has participated in a variety of implementation projects in the US and Canada and has advised financial institutions on key regulatory issues such as CCAR, DFAST and now IFRS 9 and CECL credit loss reserving.
Laurent holds a Bachelor of Accounting/MIS from H.E.C and an Executive MBA from St-Mary's of California. He is also a member of PRMIA and acting steering committee member for San Francisco and Vancouver.

He is also Adjunct Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto. Grigoris has published more than 40 papers in journals and conference proceedings in the areas of machine learning, risk management and predictive modelling in banking. He is on the PRMIA subject matter boards for Stress Testing and Enterprise Risk Management. He holds a PhD in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence).

Emily is a Boston based Manager with KPMG’s Accounting Advisory Services. Emily works with companies across multiple industries in a wide range of areas including technical accounting, financial reporting, and transaction assistance (purchases, sales, and financings) with a focus on financial instruments, distinguishing liabilities from equity, credit losses, debt securities, and business combinations. Emily is currently engaged with multiple companies in the financial services industry delivering assessment, design, and implementation support for the new credit loss accounting standard, Topic 326 – Credit losses under US GAAP.

Tim is a New York based Director with KPMG’s Accounting Advisory Services practice. Over the past 12 years, Tim worked in KPMG’s audit and advisory practices in Europe, Australia and US, specifically focusing on vendor finance companies. Currently Tim leads large accounting change projects and assists companies in getting ready and adopt new accounting standards for expected credit losses (CECL) and leases (ASC 842), along with their IFRS equivalents (IFRS 9 and 16). Within KPMG, Tim is a member of the accounting topic teams for Leases and CECL.
